The Principle of Effect and Cause
Changing the Future by Changing Our Way of Thinking
Masami Saionji
US $11.99 Paperback; $7.99 E-book
Paperback, 209 pages
ISBN: 978-1-0733-7938-5

For centuries, we human beings have seen all the phenomena in our lives in terms of the law of cause and effect. We have accepted this law as a matter of course, and we have continually let it control us, giving in to our fears and anxieties.
The eight chapters in this book show us how we can reverse the flow of our thought-energy, harnessing the magnificent qualities already present within us to achieve the future we desire. With the principle of effect and cause, we are no longer at the mercy of our past. We have all we need to envision a radiant future that flows back and becomes our present reality.
The book's appendices present concrete methods for changing our way of thinking, along with inspiring words and examples of how people around the world are working for a transformation in consciousness and the dawn of a new human civilization..

During the 20th century, we tried various measures in hopes
of doing away with war, poverty, hunger, and illness. We distributed food and medicine, we provided training in science and technology, we tried to prevent the destruction of nature, and so on. However, none of these measures brought true peace or happiness to humanity. What is the reason for this? I think it is because those measures only addressed the symptoms of society’s ills, without deeply considering their source.
For many long years, we human beings have been giving energy
to our fears and anxieties, turning them into realities. As a result, we have come to see all phenomena in terms of the law of cause and effect. We have accepted this law as a matter of course, never doubting it for a moment, and we have let it control our lives. Now, however, we have entered an era where we will be able to make a shift from the law of cause and effect to the principle of effect and cause. And as each of us begins to grasp this principle and put it into practice, we will be able to create true happiness.
